Where We Ship Parcels From LaPlace
Four Carriers and One Counter
Allied Express ships with UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS, and we are an authorized Meest partner for parcels going overseas. You do not have to know which one is right for your box. Bring it in, tell us where it is going, and we will price it across all of them in front of you.
Meest has no location of its own in Louisiana. The closest ones on their list are in Texas, Florida and Georgia, so for anyone around LaPlace this counter is the place to hand the box over.
Meest Destinations, by Region
Ukraine. Our oldest route and the one with published prices, weight limits and customs rules: shipping to Ukraine.
The European Union and the rest of Europe. All 27 EU countries, plus the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, the Balkans and the small states: shipping to the European Union.
Kazakhstan and the CIS. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Georgia: shipping to Kazakhstan and the CIS.
Honduras and Latin America. Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America: shipping to Latin America. Esta página en español.
Vietnam, the Philippines, China and the rest of Asia. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Israel and the Gulf states are on the same list: shipping to Asia.
India. Meest publishes rates, weight limits and customs rules for India, so it has a page of its own: shipping to India.
Africa. Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ethiopia, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Tunisia and Angola are on the Meest list, along with about twenty more. Not every African country is: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Libya and Somalia are missing from it. Ask at the counter and we will check your address against the current list.
Australia, New Zealand and Canada are on the Meest list as well, and everything else goes with one of the four carriers.
Where Meest Does Not Go
Russia and Belarus. Meest states it plainly: Meest does not deliver parcels from the USA to Russia and Belarus. That is their wording, and it is the end of the matter for this carrier.
Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Neither country appears on any Meest destination list, and Meest has said nothing about them either way. We will not guess on your behalf.
Cuba and Venezuela. Neither is on a Meest list. Cuba also carries US rules of its own that have nothing to do with the carrier, and that is a conversation to have at the counter rather than a paragraph on a web page.
If you need any of these addresses, come in and ask. We will see what UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS can do, and tell you straight if the answer is nothing.

What Happens at the Counter
- We weigh and measure the box, or pack it for you if you bring the things loose
- We price the same shipment across the carriers and Meest so you can compare
- The customs declaration is typed on our computer and printed here
- You leave with a tracking number, and so does the person waiting for the box
