Document Binding and Laminating in LaPlace, LA
Reports, Manuals and Menus, Finished at the Counter
A stack of loose pages does not survive a meeting. We bind it into something that opens flat and stays in order. And the pages that have to live on a wall, in a truck or on a job site get laminated so they stop falling apart.
What Binding Costs
- $6 up to 50 sheets
- $9 from 51 to 125 sheets
- $12 from 126 to 250 sheets
- Add $2 for a clear front and a hard back cover
Printing is charged separately at our page rates: 25 cents a page in black and white, 30 cents on legal and 69 cents a page in color.
What Laminating Costs
Laminating runs from $4 to $15 apiece, depending on size. Wide-format laminating is $15 whatever the dimensions, so a big sign costs the same as a slightly smaller one.
What the Binding Looks Like
The pages are punched along the edge and held by a plastic spine, so the document opens flat on a desk and the pages turn all the way around without tearing out. It is the finish you have seen on training manuals, church programs, recipe collections and restaurant menus.
Thick Documents
The price list runs to 250 sheets. If your document is thicker than that, ask at the counter and we will tell you what it takes before we start punching.
What to Bring
- The document. On paper, or as a file emailed to alliedexpresslaplace@gmail.com and we print it here
- The page count if you are calling ahead, because that is what sets the binding price
How Long It Takes
One report is bound at the counter while you wait. For a stack of them, ask us when you drop them off and we will give you a time.
Do I Need an Appointment?
No. Walk in during store hours, Monday through Friday from 9 to 6 and Saturday from 9 to 1.
What People Laminate
Menus, price lists, instruction sheets that live in a truck, signs for a job site, seating charts and anything that gets handled every day and would otherwise be soft at the corners in a month.
While You Are Here
Most binding jobs start as a print job. See copying and printing, or send the file ahead and pick the finished copies up bound.
