Shipping to Vietnam, the Philippines, China and the Rest of Asia

An Authorized Meest Partner in LaPlace

Allied Express is an authorized Meest partner. We take parcels and documents at our counter and send them out on Meest. Bring the box packed, or bring the things loose and we will pack them here.

Meest holds parcels until it has a full load, then they travel together, so your box is not crossing the ocean by itself. That is where the saving on this route comes from. We will quote Meest against UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS at the counter so you can see the difference for your own box.

Meest has no location of its own in Louisiana. The closest ones on their list are in Texas, Florida and Georgia, so for anyone around LaPlace this counter is the place to hand the box over.

Vietnam, the Philippines and China

Boxes leave this counter for Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Manila, Cebu, Davao, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and for the towns around them. Meest carries all three countries, and the paperwork is the same one we do every day.

Bring the box in and we will weigh it, measure it, price it against the carriers and write the declaration on our computer while you wait.

Every Asian Country on the Meest List

East and Southeast Asia. China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei and Mongolia.

South Asia. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The Middle East. Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan.

India has its own page, because Meest publishes rates, weight limits and customs rules for it: shipping to India.

Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia are on the same Meest list, and we keep them together on one page: shipping to Kazakhstan and the CIS.

The Meest destination list on this page is the one they published on September 1, 2026. Meest adds and drops countries, so if yours is not here, ask us anyway and we will check their current list before you decide anything.

How Long It Takes

Meest lists one delivery estimate for Asia: up to two weeks. That is their estimate and not a guaranteed date. Customs can add to it, and nobody can promise a calendar day on an international shipment. What we can tell you is which way your box is going and what usually happens on that route.

What We Send

  • Parcels for family and friends
  • Documents, though not passports
  • Large and heavy shipments that will not fit a regular parcel

You will not find a weight limit or a size limit on this page, and that is deliberate. Meest publishes limits for some destinations and not for others, and we would rather check yours than print a number that does not apply to your box. Bring the thing in, or send us the measurements, and we will tell you where it stands before you pay for anything.

Money transfers are a different business and Meest does not do them.

What Cannot Go in the Box

Meest keeps one list for every country it serves. These are the items that come up most often at our counter, and it is not the whole list:

  • No firearms, replicas, ammunition, knives or anything explosive
  • No fuel, paint, solvents, bleach, aerosols, adhesives or pressurized cylinders
  • No perfume, aftershave or nail polish
  • No alcohol, no cash, no bank cards, no passports
  • No live plants, seeds or animals, no perishable food, no dry ice
  • Jewelry, watches and gold ship at your own risk, so ask before you pack them
  • Batteries and anything running on them are restricted, so ask before you pack them

The full list lives on the Meest restricted items page. If you are not sure about something, ask us before you buy packaging for it.

Insurance

Additional insurance is selected when the parcel is booked and its cost is added to the shipment, so tell us at the counter before the box is sealed. Electronics that travel unprotected or uninsured are outside what Meest will compensate, and so are jewelry and other valuables, so name anything irreplaceable while the box is still open.

Customs

A parcel clears customs in the country it is going to, and what the person receiving it pays depends on that country and on what is inside. Each country sets its own import rules, so we do not quote duty for a country we do not control.

The declaration is typed on our computer and printed here. Nothing is filled in by hand. We write down what is actually in the box, because an honest description is what keeps a parcel moving.

What to Bring

  • The full address with the postal code
  • A phone number for the person receiving the parcel
  • An honest description of the contents and what they are worth

You can send all of that ahead to alliedexpresslaplace@gmail.com. We work straight from that inbox, so the paperwork can be started before you arrive with the box.

What It Costs

The price depends on the size of the box, its weight, where it is going and how fast you want it there, so there is no price list on this page. Meest also adds a fuel surcharge to international shipments, charged by the pound and reviewed month by month since it came in on April 15, 2026, so we quote the figure that is current on the day you ship. Bring the box in, or send the details to the address above, and you get the whole price before anything is sealed.
