Document Scanning in LaPlace, LA
Paper In, File Out
We scan documents at the counter, from a single form to a filing box of them. Tell us where the file needs to end up and we put it there.
What It Costs
Scanning is priced by the job, because a two-page form and a box of records are not the same work. Ask at the counter and we will tell you the price before we start.
What to Bring
- The documents. Stapled is fine, we take the staples out
- A USB drive if you want the files on one, or an email address if you want them sent
How Long It Takes
A few pages are done at the counter while you wait. For a large batch, ask us when you drop it off and we will give you a time.
Do I Need an Appointment?
No. Walk in during store hours, Monday through Friday from 9 to 6 and Saturday from 9 to 1. For a big job, call ahead so we can plan around the counter.
If Computers Are Not Your Thing
A good share of the people who walk in here are stuck on something the form is not telling them. The attachment will not open. The file will not download. The office wants it scanned and sent back today and the only computer in the house belongs to a grandchild.
Bring it in. We will sit with it and get it done, and nobody here is going to sigh at you or talk over your head. This is a normal part of our day.
While You Are Here
Need it printed as well? Black and white is 25 cents a sheet, 30 cents on legal, and color is 69 cents. If it has to go out by fax, that is $2 for the first page and $1 for each page after.
